About Catalina: Spiritual Midwife in Sonoma County

I am a woman, mother, daughter, sister, midwife, and student on the healing path. With over 10 years of experience in birth, I have found my way home to supporting women in alignment with the natural world and the power of physiological birth. As a home birth midwife in Sonoma County, I am devoted to walking with families in trust, reverence, and love.

My journey of remembrance began entrenched in the medical model. After countless disempowering experiences, I began seeking counsel outside the medical industrial system. In my studies with a variety of traditional healers, I began weaving a new path for myself — one that led me to my true calling in spiritual midwifery. I graciously stand at the portal between life and death to hold space, witness, guide, and protect a sacred container for self-empowerment, magic, inner healing, and transformation to occur. This energy extends beyond the birth space into sacred ceremony, postpartum care, and support for my community throughout all realms of transformation — including birth, death, and rebirth.

My path deepened as I embarked on my own mothering and midwifery journeys, but it was not until the birth of my second child that some of my most profound lessons emerged. Through the teachings of a wild pregnancy, freebirth, and traditional postpartum care, I reawakened a deep sense of radical responsibility and trust in myself. By reclaiming birth as ceremony, ritual, and prayer, I had once again died and been reborn into the remembrance of the woman, mother, and midwife my soul came here to be.

Today, my devotion extends beyond birth into education, mentorship, and ceremony. I offer childbirth education, somatic practices, and midwifery mentorship as opportunities to return home to yourself. It is with great humility, honor, and respect that I continue walking alongside all those willing to step into the unknown, untangle stories of the past, and return to the wisdom of the heart.
