I honor the way in which pregnancy is a normal season of life and that giving birth is a deeply primal act that beats to the rhythm of its own primordial drum.
The ancient art of traditional Midwifery requires unconditionally supporting the birthing woman and her family in their journey throughout conception, pregnancy, labor, birth and postpartum.
I believe that Motherbaby are intrinsically connected and that every woman possess the innate ability to give Birth undisturbed in a safe, comfortable and private environment. I fully respect individual sovereignty and look to the mother to determine every step of the decision-making process for her Birth. In order for the woman to truly be the authority in the room she must put herself at the center of her own care.
When I first stepped into the birth space 10 years ago I knew I had worked in this realm before, either as a doctor, nurse or medical Midwife. I know that my return to Birth in this lifetime is of a higher calling, to bring back the spiritual elements of true Midwifery.
I see all Birth as a profoundly ceremonial and psychedelic experience with the opportunity for radical growth and transformation.
My family-centered care is rooted in trust, reverence and a strong connection to the divine, offering an Quantum approach that encompass the mind, body and soul.
The traditional ways of the village wise-woman supports childbirth as a family-centered event, strengthening family bonds and supporting women through community building and connection.
Birth is a portal—an invitation to awaken to yourself and your power.
Birthing outside of the standard medical system requires taking full responsibility in physically, emotionally and spiritually preparing for your Birth.
Therefore, all of the work of preparing for Birth as women, partners and Midwives is truly only the innermost work that we must do, in our hearts.
In Quantum Midwifery, my clearest intention is to nurture deep trust, soul-level connection and the spiritual unfolding that occurs as women cross the sacred threshold from maiden to mother. This care also honors the journey of men and fathers, inviting them into deeper presence, emotional attunement, and their own sacred initiation. This is where she begins to mother herself, where he learns to hold with devotion, and where both begin to remember their wisdom, strength and sovereignty.
In this way, we prepare not just for the birth of a baby, but for the becoming of a family.

I first connected with Catalina around 11 weeks pregnant. Upon our first phone call I was certain she was meant to support myself on the journey of pregnancy, birth and postpartum. I had initially considered free birthing my daughter. I had fears around working with a provider that would interrupt my desire for physiological birth. From the first moment I met Catalina, her presence offered invitations of safety, curiosity, and expansion. Working with her throughout my pregnancy, I felt held and free to listen to my own intuition to support my baby and my body best. In the moments I was uncertain, she only reflected back the strength and knowing within me, bolstered by her own wisdom in the realms of birth. Now writing this 11 weeks postpartum, I consider Catalina a dear friend and teacher. In our container, I walked through the greatest transformation of my life, thus far. I had my dream pregnancy, birth and postpartum. I feel confident, trusting and whole in my mothering journey and I understand the importance of asking for help and having a team of women behind you in embarking on the initiation of motherhood. Catalina is as good as it gets. She was a part of our birth team as we welcomed our first baby last October. She has an incredible gift to meet you where you're at. Her calming yet strong energy gave me so much ease as I prepared to bring my baby into the world. She created a space that was safe, trusting and perfect for my pregnancy. Then came the birth. She walked me through the most challenging few hours of my life. I can't imagine the experience without her. She will absolutely be present if/when we have another baby. She is a 10!

I love Cat. She was one of the midwives for my birth and I cant speak more highly of her. The entire pregnancy she was right there with me holding space, listening and supporting me without judgement of my choices. She was so informative without being pretentious. She was there for me whenever I texted her with questions after hours. Cat made me feel totally supported and cared for. During birth she went over and above a midwives duties. She brought essential oils, rubbed my shoulders, helped me make informed decisions (ended up transferring to the hospital so I was faced with a lot of unknowns), and even helped me with breastfeeding. She is a total gem and I hope to have her for all the rest of my birthing journeys.
